+Event Staff | A DIVINE EVENT

Location: Norcross, GA

Job Description

A Divine Event is a Catering and Special Events company producing private events through-out Atlanta and Athens. We are currently hiring Event Staff for our busy spring and fall seasons. This is part-time, flexible scheduling on a pick up basis. Event Staff are responsible for the set-up, service and break down of our special events. Event Staff lift and carry equipment, set tables with linens and flatware, build buffets and food stations. Event Staff re-load food stations; offer appetizers, champagne and cake from tray service; bus and maintain the facility during the event. We promote a fun positive work environment, centered on team work.

What Part will you play?

The Event Staff member plays a vital role in the success of an event from beginning to end. Our Event Staff is crucial to ensuring our guests receive A perfectly Divine Event. The attention to details and drive for excellence that they possess is what sets us apart from our competition. Much of our feedback from our clients reflects the graciousness and professionalism of our staff. We pride ourselves on having dedicated team members who will maintain our company philosophy and help us to continue to lead the industry in all aspects of Special Events.

What will you be doing?

-Work with the rest of the Event Team to execute small and large events during the week and weekend, at locations throughout the Atlanta and Athens area.

-Work in a fast-paced and dynamicenvironment, serving guests and producing all levels of events from meetings for national corporations to local social gatherings

-Hourly pay is based on experience and responsibilities, and there is potential for growth. Times and hours vary according to the event schedule.

Job Description

A Divine Event is a Catering and Special Events company producing private events through-out Atlanta and Athens. We own and operate five special event venues. This is part-time, flexible schedule, mainly weekend hours. Position includes full bar set-up, service and break down.

+Event Chef Supervisor for A DIVINE EVENT

Location: Atlanta, Ga

Job Description:

What Part will you play?

The Event Chef Lead is the person in charge of supervising culinary personnel during an event. They play a vital role in the success of an event from beginning to end. They are responsible for solving any culinary problems that arise during the event and for supervising menu preparation and execution to ensure food safety and quality. This person monitors staff progress and assists in any areas where additional help is needed. This is a position of responsibility and leadership, helping train and guide other team members in proper menu execution and food safety. Please provide references with your resume.

What will you be doing?

-Lead a team of chefs to execute small and large events during the week and weekend, at locations throughout the Atlanta and Athens area.

-Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, serving guests and producing all levels of events from meetings for national corporations to local social gatherings

-Assist in food preparation at our commissaries in Norcross and Lawrenceville, when needed.

-Hourly pay is based on experience and responsibilities, and there is potential for growth. Times and Hours vary according to the event schedule.

What do we require from you?

-Passion for creating excellent food and executing “Divine” events

-Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety, minimum 2 years experience working in a from-scratch kitchen environment

-Energetic self-starter with attention to detail and accuracy, ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines under pressure

-Creative insight and the ability to exercise autonomy to fulfill complicated tasks

-Team-player with a positive attitude towards change

-Effective and professional communication in English required, Spanish language skills a plus

-Ability to lift and move an average of 50 pounds

-Reliable Transportation to and from Events, and a Valid Driver's License with a Good Driving Record

-ServSafe Certification a plus

Job Description

Tired of the grind of restaurant life? A Divine Event, A High Volume Catering Company is currently seeking highly motivated and passionate Prep Chefs to prep small and large events throughout the week, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Monday through Friday 6-3pm, averaging 35 hours. Main kitchen located in Norcross, Satellite Kitchen located in Lawrenceville. Exact Times and Hours may vary according to the event schedule. Some Saturdays maybe required. Hourly pay is based on experience and responsibilities, generally higher than restaurant pay, and there is potential for growth. Candidates who are creative and are looking for a long-term career with an award-winning catering company are encouraged to apply.

Required Skills

-Must have a Minimum 2 year Experience prepping in a High- Volume Scratch Kitchen environment.
