A Planner's Delight

You know us, we'll come up with any excuse to throw a party. And when we have new culinary treats and dessert deliciousness on the menu, we want some guinea pigs. For this occasion, we invited some of the best Event Planners that Atlanta has to offer. What was on this tasty menu, you ask? For Apps, our lovely ladies munched on Jerk Chicken Satays with Raspberry Sauce, Chocolate Dipped Bacon, Rainbow Radish Chips with Lobster Salad, Pizzetta Flambee Fontina with Fig and Baby Rocket, as well as some savory Soup Sips. As a First Course, we served Cornmeal Crusted Fried Grit Cake, Garden Salsa with Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Poblanos, atop Dandelion Greens with Sriracha Drizzle. For our entree they enjoyed Black Bass with Mixed Vegetable Tempura, Coconut Rice, Sweet & Spicy Orange Chili Sauce, Orange Segment, and Micro Greens. And since no meal by A Divine Event is complete without dessert, we introduced the "Cup" Cake. A clever twist to the ever trendy cupcake display, our signature “Cup” Cakes rock. When stacked, they deliver the expected grandness of a tiered cake, but the flavor comes as a total surprise. As individual trifles served in cups, more options are possible, especially when layered with custard, whipped cream, meringue or icing enhanced with fruit, chocolate shavings or berries. Choosing between Coconut Cake, Sticky Toffee Pudding, and Strawberry Shortcake, it certainly was hard to decide which flavor was the best. We may just have to attempt putting all 3 flavors in one cup! On their way out, guests picked up our Signature, Wickedly Delicious Candied Red Apples. Take a peek...
