Catering Atlanta

Born and raised in “la Isla del Encanto”, the enchanted island of Puerto Rico, Jinny’s hospitality and events career started as a Front Desk and Night Manager of a small inn in Puerto Rico. Upon graduating from the University of Puerto Rico, Jinny worked as a Performance Consultant and Training Manager with Johnson & Johnson where she supported the manufacturing areas of a pharmaceutical and medical device combination product. It was her love for numbers, measuring, and people that would drive her later to pursue an MBA in Human Resources.
Upon moving to the mainland, she worked as a Knowledge Management and Training Supervisor with Medco Healthcare where she was responsible for the organization’s communications and technical training. During her years at Medco, Jinny received a Six Sigma Green Belt certification, a world-recognized methodology to approach process improvement.
On 2011, she moved to Georgia with her family. After a short sabbatical, she knew that it was time to follow her true passion, events. After completing an internship with a renown wedding planner in Atlanta, Jinny landed her first official job in the events industry, as a Special Events Supervisor with Oglethorpe University. At Oglethorpe, she planned and directed multiple academic, corporate, and social events, but the highlight of her tenure with Oglethorpe was getting to plan a breakfast for President Jimmy Carter.
At A Divine Event, Jinny has finally found her dream job. A job where she can use all of her skills and her love for people, numbers, and creativity.
